1960 Gerstenslager Bookmobile purchased in November of 1966 from Mid-Continent Public Library Service in Independence, Missouri. Began service to Bennett, Strasburg, Byers and Deer Trail, Colorado in February 1967.

Southglenn Library relocated in 1998 to 7500 South University Blvd #101, Centennial, CO. (Dry Creek Center).

Sheridan Public Library opened in 1972 at 3201 West Oxford Avenue, Sheridan, CO. The library was located inside Sheridan High School.

John V. Christensen Library at Western Federal Savings building. Southglenn Library was renamed the John V. Christensen Library from 1973-1978. The name was then changed back to Southglenn Library.
