Description
1960 Gerstenslager Bookmobile purchased in November of 1966 from Mid-Continent Public Library Service in Independence, Missouri. Began service to Bennett, Strasburg, Byers and Deer Trail, Colorado in February 1967. In 1973 this bookmobile was permanently parked on school grounds in Byers, Colorado and used as a library facility until 1979 when the library collection was moved from the bookmobile into Byers elementary school.
