Byers Library moved to this modular building in 1984 and was renamed the Ann E. Kelver Library in honor of the Library District's first Director who retired that same year.

Byers Library was allocated space in Byers High School in 1979. Prior to this Byers Library was a bookmobile parked on school grounds from 1973-1979.

Deer Trail Library moved into Deer Trail High School in 1978. Prior to this patrons were served using a bookmobile since 1966.
